Paracord is a versalite cord consisting of 7 strands of core. The paracord I use is military grade and is commonly known as 550 paracord. A single strand will support 550 lbs before breaking. The inner strings can be removed in case of need and each support up to 35 lbs. They can be used for snares, kindling, fishing, dental floss...anything that comes to mind!
